1. Project Background: The Challenge of Extreme Cold

When a client from Kyrgyzstan approached us for a massive public lighting project, the challenge was clear: extreme winter temperatures. In high-latitude and mountainous regions, standard lithium batteries often suffer from severe capacity loss or completely shut down below freezing, a common pain point frequently discussed by off-grid enthusiasts.

To solve this, Inbrit provided a highly customized, heavy-duty solution: 1,600 sets of our TRANSFO Split Solar Street Lights, specifically engineered to conquer sub-zero environments.

2. Core Configuration & Technical Specs

To ensure stable Dusk to Dawn illumination in harsh weather, we optimized every component of the system:

  • Lamp Head: 80W TRANSFO Split Solar Street Light.

  • Solar Panel: 360W High-efficiency Monocrystalline panel.

  • Battery: 11.1V 150AH Extreme Cold Resistant Lithium Battery.

  • Pole: 9-meter high octagonal pole with a single arm.

3. The Game-Changer: Advanced Low-Temperature Battery Technology

The biggest hurdle in solar lighting for cold regions is battery freezing (lack of Low temp protection). We tackled this head-on with our cutting-edge energy storage solution.

Why Our Battery Survives the Kyrgyz Winter:

  • Aerospace-Grade Aerogel Insulation: The brand low-temperature resistant lithium battery for extreme cold adopts aerogel advanced technology, operating strongly even at -30°C. It features multi-layer aerogel protection and a composite insulation structure.

  • Smart BMS with Auto-Heating: Equipped with an intelligent Battery Management System (BMS), the battery automatically initiates temperature control heating at -10°C. This ensures the cells remain in an optimal state to accept a charge from the solar panel.

  • Exceptional Performance: With low attenuation, low energy consumption, and long service life, it is lightweight and ideal for outdoor street lamps.

Lab Tst Conclusion verified by our R&D center: With the set temperature at -40°C and indoor temperature around -35.0°C, the battery pack's charging and discharging are completely normal.

4. Heavy-Duty Structural Design: Built to Last

Beyond the battery, the physical integrity of the installation is paramount for commercial-grade projects.

  • True Split Design: The 360W solar panel is separated from the 80W TRANSFO light head. This Split Design allows for independent tilt and azimuth adjustments, maximizing solar radiation capture during short winter days while avoiding snow buildup.

  • Corrosion-Resistant Poles: The 9m octagonal poles undergo rigorous hot-dip galvanizing and passivation treatment. This dual-layer protection guarantees exceptional rust and corrosion resistance against road salts and freezing rain. Our state-of-the-art production facilities utilize advanced salt spray testing equipment (FR-1203) to ensure long-term structural durability.

5. High Lumen Output for Enhanced Safety

The TRANSFO series is designed to deliver true, powerful illumination rather than inflated wattage claims. The 80W LED module provides a massive Lumen output, significantly improving road visibility and safety for local drivers and pedestrians during the dark, snowy months.
